My Mission

Mission

Good morning everyone! As promised I am back and ready for a full message. I have coffee in hand and ready to go. Before I begin, I just want to say that I know its been a hard week for alot of you (myself included). The good news is that God is still in control and despite what it all may seem like, this will all make sense soon. (Not sure who that was for but it is for someone out there).

Today I have something a little different for you. Since there are a bunch of new people following this blog, I wanted to kind of pause from the norm and give a reminder of sorts what my intent and mission is with this blog…

See, I don’t think of this site as just a blog; I look at it as a ministry. Its not a traditional one with four walls as such but a ministry nonetheless. I feel that God has given me a message that is quite different than what you would normally hear in the Church today, so I am very grateful I have this platform in which to bring this to you all. I take the time that we are here together very seriously because I know this is what God has called me to do. I won’t be leaving my full time job anytime soon, however, this definitely is a full time ministry in my eyes. I guess that is why I try so hard to tell people, don’t worry about your numbers and likes, just produce life-changing content. Hopefully so far, that is what I have done here….

So what is this message you ask? Well if you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m totally annoyed and upset at what the Church has become. Satan literally no longer needs to fight the Church because we have almost totally destroyed it ourselves with false doctrine and underhanded motives. For example, I give you this passage that is often used against me…

Hebrews 10:25– “Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching

Does this verse anywhere say, you must go to a building every Sunday at 10:30 AM? No it doesn’t. What it says is that we as believers must always take time to meet so we can encourage one another as the Day of His return gets closer. Now if going to a building every Sunday at 10:30 AM is your way of meeting, great! But if its not, we should not be chastising people that choose to meet another way. If we do, we are no better than the Pharisees of old that simply throw around legalistic jargon to get people to worship THEM not God.

Another one I hear often is how we should dress our best when we meet. Ok that is fine but which do you think God would rather have?

  1. You spending tons of money on suits and fancy jewelry to wear to Church.
  2. Spend that money on helping the less fortunate get their next meal or maybe even a place to live. (then we can all stop blaming the government for things and be the light that God called us to be).

I could go on and on with example after example of what I mean but I think you get the point. A veil of lies has been placed on our eyes and I feel that I have been called to remove that veil. I hope, through this ministry/blog to get us back to TRUTH and what the Bible actually says and calls us to do. Who is with me? Who is ready to get out of their comfort zone and join me in serving. Time is short and souls are in the balance; there is so much out there and people are confused. Let us clear things up for them shall we?

Thank you all so much and have a great Saturday!!

Blessings,

David

  1. Have you ever decided to visit Rom and while your there the Vatican. It’s probably summer and it gets really hot in the summer in Rome. You arrive with all the other thousands of tourists and you hope to get a glimpse of something you’ll never forget once you’ve entered St Peter basilica. Now since it’s hot and you didn’t know any better you didn’t bring a scarf to cover your shoulders. No worries they have the solution right there for you since you can’t enter the basilica in a tank top… They’ll sell you a beautiful scarf at the end of the line and after standing in the hot sun for hours your not going to just come back the next day with already covered shoulders and you pretend it’s ok for them to take your money so nobody feels offended just so you can feel a little closer to God. Interesting isn’t it.

    1. Exactly my point…Thank you for sharing this. Sounds exactly like something the religious zealots of old would do….As far as Rome is concerned, don’t even get me started about the corruption found in the Catholic Church. lol.
