Good Palm Sunday everyone. I hope that each of you is having a great weekend and enjoying time with family and friends. I know I have had a great few days with my Bride getting stuff done and seeing some family. I would continue to ask for prayer as a close family member of ours is nearing the end of her fight with cancer. Its all in God’s timing though amen? She is just a reminder of how precious this gift called life we have been given and how really little time we have here….

So, I have to be honest, my spirit is a little “off” today. I think my “march” post somehow got misinterpreted based on some comments that were made. I’m not sure how much clearer I can make it but what I was calling for was true believers to unite and proclaim the Gospel as much as we march for other things. What I was disturbed to find out is apparently there are two gospels out there; a “left” gospel and a “right” gospel….Really? Is there really that mindset out there or is it part of a bigger problem? I think the latter is the right scenario and that leads me to my main point for today…

Once again, Lucifer has to do nothing to infiltrate the church because we are doing it all on our own. We pick apart God’s Word and use it to fit our own agendas, we hold on to some legalistic rules that are either not in the Bible at all or have been taken completely out of context, and sadly we are silent….Silent though in a way that speaks volumes over any actual words we could articulate.

We have become perfectly fine with going to a building for 2 hours a week while the world around us goes to hell (literally). We can’t even agree now that there is ONE Gospel! Somehow politics weaves its ugly head into this and it becomes a “left” or “right” thing. Amazing…..Meanwhile we have major corporations throwing it in our faces that the only god that they acknowledge is “progress”. My gosh where is the outrage?? Can it be that we are more worried about our jobs than what Christ has called us to do? I get its difficult people but come people is it more difficult than this??

Did God not promise how much He loves you and how much He would take care of you no matter what?

Matthew 6:25-33-“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

I just don’t know how else to put it anymore other than to keep on saying, we need to repair this division within God’s people and unite as one voice that Jesus is Lord and we will not tolerate the evil anymore! If we can’t do that, then we might of as well just pledge our allegiance to Lucifer and call it a day. God doesn’t want perfection, but He does want followers that are real and love Him enough to do the simple tasks He asks of us. Put down your own self interests, and spend time today figuring out what part in this He wants you to serve. Is that too much to ask for the One that sacrificed it all?

  1. Amen! So true that we “pick apart God’s Word and use it to fit our own agendas” and so sad! Love this: “God doesn’t want perfection, but He does want followers that are real and love Him enough to do the simple tasks He asks of us.” Preach it, brother! ❤️
