  1. I was working at a Call Center, and one of my coworkers shouted across the aisle that they had just gotten off the phone with a customer, who worked at the Trade Center; And that the customer said that a plane just struck the building and they were evacuating now. Before any of us could react, the first news reports started coming in. I just remember that feeling of uncertainty about what would happen next.

  2. I was an insurance broker and had gone to a hospital in SE Kentucky to do an open enrollment meeting. The first plane hit as I was pulling into their parking lot, and I saw the second plane hit the second tower on a TV in the hospital lobby. Everything that whole day seemed so surreal, except that the Lord allowed me, a seeker at the time, to feel His heart breaking over those tragic events. It is what convinced me that even though terrible things happen in this world, He is still loving and good. It was a key moment that led me to give my life to Christ on 10/14/2001.
