I’m Back!

Good morning friends! It seems like it has been forever since I’ve written anything of substance. I made a pact to use as little technology on vacation as possible, then I got sick. So the combination of the two made posting quite difficult. While I am still sick, I’m really trying to get back into a routine so here I am! I appreciate all of the prayers and support and would ask for you to continue to take our family to the Father as the medical issues never seem to end in our world….Thank God that He promises us one day this will all change amen?

1 John 4:19- “We love because he first loved us”.ย

One thing I have noticed in my hiatus is a disturbing movement which unfortunately seems to be growing. In short, we have forgotten how to love..We have become so obsessed with telling others how wrong they are living that two things have happened.

  1. We have stopped living through Christ ourselves.
  2. We are driving people further away from Christ than bringing them closer

For the record, just because you preface a statement by saying “I say this in love” does not make it a loving statement. Whether intentional or not, we have allowed Satan to creep in and have convinced us that we are gods ourselves who can place judgment on anyone that does not fit within our box of religion. Is this really the example Jesus set for us? Did Jesus ever bring people into the Kingdom by shaming them or as we like to call it now exposing them? No, He did it by not just saying He loved them but by SHOWING them. Should we not follow His lead?

Yes, we are called to correct others when they speak false doctrine, but there is a way to do it and a way not to do it. Friends, Jesus let His actions speak most of the time and so should we. Amen?

Have a great day my friends and its good to be back!

  1. Good morning, and welcome back. A verse came to mind as I read your post. โ€œBecause lawlessness is increased, most peopleโ€™s love will grow cold.โ€ (Matthew 24:12) I see this warning from Christ coming from saint and sinner with ever increasing fervor in our day. The thing about a prophecy recognized is that it gives us opportunity to choose which side of the problem we will walk. May we be found faithful though all others fail. Prayers for us all, Brother. ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ•Š
