Just One Step

Just take that one step my friends; you never know what God will do with it!

Agape Love,

Something New

Good morning again everyone! Hope everyone is safe today and starting the New Year off right. Let’s get right to it shall we?

So I have been doing something new in that I will read the “verse of the day” on my Bible App, then go back and read the whole chapter in which that verse was found. Afterwards I will make a few notes and maybe do a blog post. So this morning I started the same process with Proverbs 16:9; here is where it gets different…

I get to verse 3 and God just threw the brakes down. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was to go no further and write about this. Before I share which verse, have any of you ever felt confused about what God wants you to do with your life? Have you ever felt confused and not sure even where to start? I know I do and do often; that is why the verse that God stopped me at was like hitting a brick wall and saying, really? Interested in the verse?

Proverbs 16:3- “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.”

So what I get here is that this is God addressing those that are confused and those that simply don’t yet know what God wants from us. Basically, go to work for Him and He will provide the answers! WOW! Am I the only one amazed at this? So David what your saying is if I commit my works (whether its my job or my role in my family or specific instructions from God’s Word) that God will actually establish the correct thoughts in my head of what I am supposed to do? YES!

So is it any wonder why those with only self interests really are never happy? It becomes crystal clear here as to why. Commit ALL you do to the Lord and watch Him, wait for it, RENEW YOUR MIND! Amazing how His Word all ties together isn’t it?

Friends, as we begin a new year, let us commit all our works to Him and let God establish not only a foundation in our thoughts but an everlasting change in the way we think. Amen? Have a great New Years Day everyone!

Agape Love,

Happy New Year!

Proverbs 16:9 -“We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps”

As we start a new year friends let us remember as Christ followers to make all we do Christ centered. Goals and plans are good, then give it to Him to determine the path.
