**Re-posting this from last month. God’s Love and Grace is endless and so should ours be**
THEY SAY THAT ALL GREAT THINGS come out of you leaving your comfort zone; well, we will find out today if that still holds true as my Bride and I embark on something WAY outside of our comfort zone…
Last Friday we went to see the movie Unplanned and I wrote about how it changed my viewpoint on things in a way I didn’t expect. Abby Johnson showed that there is a more effective way to change peoples opinion and hearts and amazingly enough it is done through prayer and love. (Imagine that right?)
So the next day I noticed a local group that was organizing a prayer vigil the following weekend to peacefully and prayerfully meet at the local Planned Parenthood building. I knew I had to go when in the invitation it stated that this would be a peaceful protest with no signs allowed just you and you prayers.
Again, very much out of my comfort zone. At first I was very much second guessing myself because I know how these types of things can go from the opposition and I am VERY passionate about this subject as I have written before. But, God kept working on my heart and I knew I had to be there; I had to step outside of my comfort zone and let God work through me.
I was there once before when the Associate Pastor of the church I was attending asked me to lead the youth group. I remember telling him, “You might want to go back and pray about that again!” He told me he was clear on this so I reluctantly said yes and it turned out to be one of the greatest decisions I had ever made. I eventually became the Youth Pastor and grew more in my walk with God then I ever had. So with that I leave you with these two thoughts:
1. Please pray for us that God would move at this place in a mighty way.
2, Today, step outside of your comfort zone; its where God does His best work in your life!
Thank you everyone and if you are in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area, come one down to the Kalamazoo Christian School at 7pm and help us pray for those that so need our prayers!
