Give It To Him

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekend! I don’t know about all of you but it has been a really rough week for me. Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally, and yes Financially. We are getting ready for a move and it is really starting to take a toll. Not to mention my Daughter in Love was due yesterday so we are anxiously awaiting Kayden’s arrival. So yeah, its been a difficult week.

Being honest, I used to wonder all the time why if God is so powerful and He loves His children so much, why does He let us go through these things? I mean He could very easily just “snap His fingers” and make it all perfect. Problem with that though is this…

If He would just fix everything the minute we needed it, how would we ever grow close to Him? Again, if we are being honest, when do we communicate and interact the most with God? If we are being honest its when times are tough and we seemingly have no other options. Maybe if we depended on Him from the beginning of our situations things would be different.

All I know is that in my life it always comes back to the same thing no matter what I am going through. Its all about Jesus. From the time we wake up to the time we fall asleep, its all about Him. At least it should be..and if its not, don’t wonder why you stay in a constant state of anxiety. The Lord has given us a way to escape all of that, yet He will never force His hand. You have to choose to give it to Him.

Or, keep it to yourself. How has that been working….

Agape Love,

David
