James 4:7 -“So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

God always gives us a way out of our temptations; it’s up to humble ourselves enough to recognize it…

Joshua 24:15 “But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

Whom today will you serve?

Declare and Believe!

Romans 10:9 -“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Declare and Believe it today! Have a great Monday everyone. 🙏❤️

Happy Monday!

Revelation 4:11-“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

Today, give God the glory and honor He deserves; the only reason we have what we have is because of Him!

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE! Your probably thinking, “What’s going on? David never writes a full blog post on a Monday” Well I am on VACATION! Yes a true vacation where the movement upon the keyboard as I type this is the most strenuous work I will be doing. Going nowhere, have no appointments, just peace and relaxation for this guy. My brain needs a rest and now with me being on Keto, the rest of me does as well. Any-who, here we go!

Philippians 2:14-15- “Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people”

You have to look no further than our Twitter timelines (mine is @David_Fischer71) to see that most of us fall short in this area. I know I do for sure. As the numbers of my followers increase, there are more and more people whose sole purpose is to comment on one of my posts knowing full well that odds are it will create some sort of argument. One thing I have learned though is just to ignore those folks or just offer them a blessing and move on. How about in our normal world? Do we live with gratitude or a spirit of complaining? Do we choose our words in love or do we use them to incite and anger?

You want to know a little secret as well this morning? Despite all you may THINK you know, there is always room for learning. Sometimes we spend so much time trying to defend our views, that often we miss something important. We miss an opportunity to grow and we miss a chance to be the light to others. For if we respond like the world responds, how different are we really then? As the Scripture above tells us, the world is full of crooked and perverse people, what the world needs is His light to bring people home. Amen?

Friends, as always you have a choice when you wake up each day, you can focus on the negative and complain all day, OR you can ask God to give you a Spirit of gratitude, love, and innocence so that others will see Jesus in you. Which choice will you make today?

In His Light,
