Social Media Fighting

Hello my friends and welcome to another Saturday! As I wrote last week, I have changed my post frequency to once a week here on WordPress so I can focus my writing and ideas to sharpen my content rather than just putting a bunch of stuff out there for “views”. I pray that all of you had a great week and now can enjoy some down time with friends and family.

Before I get started, in my https://youtu.be/ru2HgJERGBQ video and in some of my https://twitter.com/David_Fischer71 posts, I challenged each of you to do the following steps each day when waking up..

  1. Before your feet hit the floor, thank God for another day He has given you breath.
  2. Go drink a full glass of water to rehydrate your body.
  3. Before looking at your phone, go think of three things that you are thankful for.

So how did you do? Where you able to do all three? Maybe just one or two? If you have, let me know in the comments below how it effected your day. If not, I highly encourage you to start your day off this way; it WILL make a difference in how your day goes I promise you that. More tips to come in future tweets and videos so stay tuned! Now on to today’s topic…

Man has Social Media opened up opportunities to get our voices heard huh? In the past to get your name or ideas out there, one would have to become a celebrity or politician, etc. Now with the inventions of Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, anyone with an internet connection can say pretty much anything they want to anyone; most times without any repercussion. Agreed?

This isn’t a bad thing in and of itself because in a way it puts us all on the same level for getting our voices (or words) heard and seen. The problem is though that it has now gotten a bit out of control.

Driven by the completely corrupt media (Yes even Fox News) social media has become a place where 99 percent of the time people only report on negativity. That too would be ok as to bring evil things to light but most of the time we don’t even know if its true or not! We post things without researching them all in the hopes to get a bunch of “likes” or “retweets” to get people to notice them. It just doesn’t stop there either..

Once we post these negative stories or comments, then the online fighting begins. No one stops to take in what is written, we just immediately slam back with rude and hurtful comments for the whole world to see; and that is just from the Christian accounts, you should see the secular ones….

Yes, fellow Christians, we do it…don’t act shocked that I’m bringing it up…

Point? No matter what people may say, they are searching for 2 things; Truth and Positivity. That is why the world is in the state that it is friends; you know the old song, “Looking for love in all the wrong places”? Still applies today. People are tired of the negativity, tired of all the evil that is going on in the world. Problem is that they don’t know where to find anything else. Let’s help them out shall we? How do we do that? I will give you these three steps to start..

  1. When you post online, try and keep it uplifting and positive.
  2. People will always try and flood your post with negative comments; you DON”T HAVE TO RESPOND. Let people see the evil first hand and let God deal with them.
  3. Speak Truth! The Word of God NEVER returns void. It is not up to us for the results, only up to us to give the message.

Friends, just like money, Social Media is not evil; only in how we use it. Let us use this enormous resource God has given us to speak His Word to the whole world. Are we not living in the time where quite literally the entire planet can hear about the saving Grace of Jesus Christ? Put away the memes and the instigating comments and share what God has to say; souls are in the balance….

Love and blessings to you all!

New Direction

Hello everyone and welcome to Saturday! I want to thank all of you for your prayers as it would seem that this virus I have had for seemingly forever is finally gone. They are calling it a “Summer Virus”; I have another name for it but that wouldn’t be so nice. Anyway, thank you again as the power of prayer is so needed and appreciated.

New direction…when I started this blog a couple of years ago, I had one subject matter on my heart. To show people just how corrupt the Church has become and how far we have strayed from the intent of why Jesus established the Church to begin with…While I still look upon the American Church as more of a business than a Spiritual refuge and place for souls to be won, I feel as if the time has come to change directions in my message.

Why? Well I have come to the conclusion that there is enough reporting on the bad in the world and it is time to start telling people about the good. Sure, the Church needs work but the Church is not the Gospel, nor does it save us from an eternity in hell, Jesus does! Why not tell THAT story? Why not tell the world how He took someone as pitiful and corrupt as me and offered eternal life both in the one to come and to an extent even now?

I have been listening to a lot of motivational speakers recently and no matter the subject that they are talking about, there is one thing in common…People are desperate for good news. They are tired of living in depression, anxiety, suffering, and never being able to be the person that they know they could be; they are simply looking for Truth. That is the type of content you can expect from me going forward; except the Truth that I speak will one of sound Biblical principles that will hopefully provide the answers people are so desperately seeking.

Friends, I thank you so much for continuing this journey with me; especially as it takes a new turn. With that said, I will only be posting a blog post once a week. I will continue though to put daily content on my Twitter (@David_Fischer71) and Instagram (@david_a_fischer71) so please join me there as well.

To God Be The Glory and have a blessed and productive Saturday!

Unity

Hello everyone and welcome to Saturday. First and foremost I want to offer prayers for our friends in California. Another earthquake struck yesterday that was even more powerful than the first one. I dire to think what may be coming next but I would hope that all reading this would join me in prayer for a hedge of protection for all involved. (In other words, save the judgmental comments about the state.) Excellent!

Unity….I am convinced this is the only way we move forward at all. Now before you offer me Scripture about how Jesus came to bring a sword not peace, let me say two things.

  1. WE ARE NOT JESUS CHRIST. God and His Son and have their purpose and we have ours. Don’t know what that is? Read the Beatitudes; especially this one..”Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”- Matthew 5:9
  2. Read number 1.

I see so much division, anger, and judgment coming from my fellow believers and it breaks my heart and the heart of Christ. I understand how evil the world has gotten and how tempting it is to want to attack back, but we will never bring people to Christ by acting like the world. We must be the difference, else how to we have any hope of fulfilling the Great Commission?

Or have we ourselves become instruments of the evil one and don’t care about saving souls anymore? Hmmm. How different are we then than who we oppose?

So where do we start? How about LISTENING for a change and stop talking. If we can connect with even one person and get them on the path to salvation, is it not worth it? Be still, listen, and offer love and comfort. Yes, offer Truth but first listen. Make sense?

Friends, I know the world is spiraling seemingly out of control, but we still have work to do. Let God be God and do the work WE were assigned. Stop confusing our role with His. Be the Light! Amen?

Love and Blessings,

David

Play Our Part

1 Peter 3:12 -“The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil.”

While true notice the passage says the Lord turns His face not us. We need to stop playing God and play our part.

Love and Blessings,

David

God’s Children

Proverbs 2:8 -“He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him.”

God takes care of His own; I ask you today are you one of His own? Have you given your life to Jesus Christ?

Reblog to those that may need to hear this today. 🙏❤️

Simple Message

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday! I’m not feeling real well today so I am going to keep this short and sweet.

Friends, the Gospel is simple.

Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Yes there is more to come after that but if you have truly called upon the name of the Lord to save you from the penalty of your sins, you WILL be saved.

Somehow, someway with all the mess in this world we have forgotten to preach this simple message. So many people worried about giving their opinion on this and that all the while people are going to Hell for eternity. Have we forgotten that this is the ultimate place for people that do not accept this message? Is there anyone so far gone that we would not want to see them saved? Where we once as lost as they are?

Friends, I invite you today to put aside your personal interpretations of the Bible and preach this simple message. Can we do that? Can we let the power of God’s Word be the final authority? Time is too short and we have a personal responsibility to teach this simple Truth. If we are focused on other things and not that then we don’t have the motives of Jesus but our Enemy instead.

Please reblog this message, RT, and find away to actually speak it to someone.

Love and blessings,

David
